Letter from David Whelan to Walter Smith, Chairman Former Boys and Girls Association Quarriers, 09/04/2004 From: David Whelan Private and Confidential Dear Walter Thank you for your "hurried note" and the subscription forms enclosed I will pass these on to the former boys and girls who have expressed an interest in rekindling their time spent at Quarriers through the former boys and girls association. They can then decide for themselves the appropriate time to rejoin or otherwise. I note you make no mention of the other issues raised in my previous letter dated 22nd of March 2004. I would ask that you as Chairman of the former boys and girls association address these issues. You did say during our conversation that you would have to seek counsel and advice from Mr Phil Robinson Chief Executive of Quarriers Charity who donate cottage 8 to the association. I assume the reason you make no mention of these issues is that you are awaiting a response from Mr Robinson. The situation remains the same as outlined in my letter dated the 22nd March 2004 and I await your response in writing. I also asked for a copy of the constitution re: the former boys and girls association. To date I have not received one. Thank you for your assistance in these matters and for reasons of confidentiality I would insist and ask that my address is not passed on to anyone. Yours Sincerely David Whelan |
