Former Boys And Girls Abused
The Association

Email sent to Christine Miller from David Williams 24/07/2007. Quarriers Director David Williams has confirmed that the Association of former boys and girls is NOT an official sanctioned organisation under the auspices of Quarriers Charity. Once again this Association is making claims that are misleading and incorrect.

The Association of Quarriers Homes, accuse the FBGA of  stealing the FBGA name.

PDF Document Letter sent to Mr Fred Fifer the Chairman of the Association 26/11/2004 with regards the accounts and other matters including concerning convicted paedophiles who were apparently still registered as members of the Association. We asked the Association to clarify matters, which to-date they have not done!
Please note Fred Fifer contacted David Whelan directly on the 25th November 2005, one year later, by telephone following the Quarriers Media conference in Bath.
Mr Fifer was informed in that conversation that we were dealing with the Association issues currently through Quarriers directly as they had failed to address the serious issues previously raised by us.
David Whelan left open the opportunity of futher dialogue at a later date with the Association once issues were resolved with Quarriers (PDF format).

Correspondence between David Whelan and the Association

It has always been our intention to resolve the issues for the benefit of those former boys and girls abused in-care in Quarriers.

We were asked to undertake this task on their behalf. This has been difficult because the Association has consistently dragged its feet and been uncooperative. We believe we have evidence that they have also covered up this abuse, and some of the Association members have been directly involved. In our view this Association is corrupt and has shielded others from being brought to justice.

WHAT DID WALTER SMITH SAY DURING HIS TAPED CONVERSATION WITH MARION SCOTT OF THE SCOTTISH SUNDAY MAIL?

WE HAD GREAT DIFFICULTIES EVEN AFTER BECOMING MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION AT THE BEHEST OF THE CHAIRMAN OF QUARRIERS. THESE INCLUDED DIFFICULTIES WHEN WE REQUESTED THE ACCOUNTS, WHICH WE WERE ENTITLED TO AS PER THE CONSTITUTION, PRIOR TO THE AGM.
