Registered letter from David Whelan to Sonya Rothwell, 19/03/03 Ms Sonya Rothwell 19th March 2003 Dear Sonia Further to your phone call to day as discussed I did not receive any written correspondence from the BBC Scotland and did not give any contact telephone numbers, work or personal numbers, to the BBC Scotland. I was surprised that you were able to call me on my personal mobile number. I was distressed by this as after the court case I received a number of malicious phone calls from Scotland, which I had to report to the police and also sought legal advice. I would ask that all enquiries for interviews, statements or any other requests by the BBC Scotland should be put forward to my solicitors as I understand that a legal process is currently in process in relation to Mr John Porteous.
