Former Boys And Girls Abused
FBGA seek clarification from the Systemic Review Team, 14/09/2007
Dear Tom
I understand that an announcement will be made tomorrow with regards the expected delay to your report being finalised and released. This was expected to be released by the end of September 2007 at the latest.
This is now the second time that the Systemic Review Report to be submitted to the Scottish Minister responsible for the oversight of the Systemic Review has been delayed.
It would be helpful if you and the Systemic Review Team could address these questions so as to give clarification and reduce uncertainty on this matter.
- Can you clarify the reasons for this delay?
- Is the delay being requested by the Systemic Review Team?
- Has the Scottish Government Minister, Adam Ingram taken this decision to delay the report?
- Who took the actual decision to delay the report and why?
- Are the Systemic Review Team requesting any additional elements to be added to it's current remit from the Scottish Government?
- Will an interim report be released by the Systemic Review Team to the Minister?
- What is the envisaged scheduled timescale now for the report to be finalised and released?
- Is there any additional information at this point you can share with the FBGA group pertaining to this particular issues?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards
FBGA (Former Boys and Girls Abused in Quarriers Homes)
