Page 65 (Section 5.22) of the Scottish Law Commission Report says that Quarriers stated that there was no record of abuse in the files. This is plainly untrue and it was pointed out to the Scottish Law Commission that abuse was recorded in the said files, just as it was clearly recorded as being reported by former residents (such as Irene Whelan).
